About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery and implementation of a new Land Development System. This contract opportunity will see you working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors to support the transition from legacy systems to a modern solution.

You will play a key role across requirements gathering, business process analysis, data migration, testing and implementation, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyse current-state business processes and facilitate workshops to define future-state requirements.
• Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation and legacy system decommissioning.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support business case finalisation, scope clarification and change impact assessments.
• Assist with test planning, UAT, defect resolution and go-live readiness activities.
• Develop process maps, business requirements documentation and other key project deliverables.

Please note: This role requires onsite attendance in Shepparton, Victoria, with flexibility for WFH when onsite attendance is not required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in enterprise system implementations, business process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex system implementation projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping and documentation.
• Hands-on experience supporting data migration, validation and legacy system decommissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitating workshops and working with external vendors.
• Experience supporting UAT, defect management and go-live activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight project timeframes.
• Previous experience within utilities, water, government or other asset-intensive environments will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to Land Development Systems, procurement activities, business case development or Smartsheet would be advantageous.
