Davidson Technology are working with a leading local government entity to secure an experienced Information Architecture & Solution Readiness Project Manager to support the organisation's Asset Management Program. This is a key delivery role within Digital & Information Services, helping prepare the organisation for the successful implementation and transition to a new Asset Management Information System (AMIS).
About the Role
You will lead the Information Architecture & Solution Readiness stream of the organisation's Asset Management Program, ensuring delivery remains aligned with program objectives, governance requirements and implementation timeframes. You will develop and maintain integrated project plans and manage resources, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions and critical-path activities. Working across system owners, technical specialists, business representatives and vendors, you will coordinate integration activities covering interfaces, requirements, testing and implementation readiness. The role provides oversight of information architecture, data governance, business readiness and key cross-functional dependencies, while supporting mandatory data standards, asset data remediation and the transition to a new AMIS with reconciled and reliable asset data. You will lead stakeholder engagement and change activities, manage vendor relationships and contractual deliverables, and prepare reports, decision papers, recommendations and presentations for governance forums and senior stakeholders.
This is a local government opportunity based primarily in Maroochydore, with availability to work across local government work locations as required.
About You
You will bring demonstrated experience managing complex business and technology projects or workstreams within an enterprise IT environment, ideally involving information architecture, data governance, enterprise systems, systems integration or business transformation. You will have a strong understanding of information management principles including data standards, governance, reporting, assurance, access controls, stewardship models and audit requirements. Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively across executive, operational, technical and vendor stakeholder groups while managing competing priorities and complex dependencies. Experience with asset management systems, enterprise GIS, financial asset registers, integration platforms or business intelligence tools will be highly regarded, as will exposure to data remediation, reconciliation or migration and implementation readiness. Knowledge of ISO 55000/55001, ISO 8000, ISO 19650 and relevant Queensland information-governance principles is desirable. Relevant qualifications in Information Technology and Project Management, or equivalent enterprise IT project/stream management experience, are required. A current C Class Driver Licence is also required.
