Key Responsibilities

Strategic Support & Reporting: Work hand-in-hand with the local General Manager in Hong Kong while maintaining a direct reporting line to the global Financial Controller in the USA.

Financial Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily finance department operations to ensure strict compliance with international accounting standards and internal control policies.

Commercial Contract Management: Autonomously review, manage, and execute purchase and sales contracts, taking full ownership of LC payment processes.

Cash Flow & Ledger Management: Review accounts payable and receivable schedules, oversee payment releases, and lead proactive collection workflows (with a strong focus on LC negotiation).

Cross-Border Financial Reporting: Lead quarterly reporting cycles, ensuring precise profit allocation across global traders and agents for reporting to USA corporate management.
What We Are Looking For

Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, paired with relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

Experience: 8–10 years of solid, progressive experience in corporate finance or commercial accounting.

Industry Expertise: Strong background in global trade operations; experience within a trading company or banking environment handling Letters of Credit (LCs) is highly desirable.

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on mastery of computerized accounting software and modern enterprise ERP systems.

Languages: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
