We are currently seeking an experienced Parking & Local Laws Officer for a temporary assignment with Hobsons Bay City Council.

- Temporary Contract
- Immediate Start
- 38 hours per week | Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 11 May 2026 – 12 June 2026
- $49.44/hr + super
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct parking patrols, inspections, investigations, and compliance checks
- Issue infringement notices and notices to comply
- Respond to public enquiries and complaints
- Educate the community on parking and local law regulations
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records
- Gather evidence and attend court when required
- Assist with enforcement matters including abandoned vehicles, fire hazards, and local law breaches
- Previous experience in parking enforcement, local laws, compliance, or a similar regulatory role
- Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence essential
- Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) highly regarded
