ROLE OVERVIEW
  • Rural & remote primary health care nursing role
  • Senior clinical leadership within PHCC setting
  • Participation in portfolio and audit management (CN level)
  • First on-call clinical responsibilities required
 ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Minimum 5 years acute care experience
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Triage qualification
  • MEC/REC experience
  • First on-call experience
CLINICAL NURSE CONSULTANT 
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (first responder)
  • Highly desirable:
    • Remote Area Nursing (RAN)
    • RIPRN endorsement
    • Sexual Health experience
    • Child & Maternal Health
    • Immunisation certification
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Manual driver’s licence (highly desirable)
 WORK EXPECTATIONS
  • Rural & remote PHCC environment
  • Senior clinical decision-making required
  • Participation in audits, governance, and portfolio management (CN level)
  • First on-call responsibilities included
