An opportunity exists for an experienced SAP Reporting and Analytics Lead to join a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program in Melbourne. This is a 20-month fixed-term contract in a hybrid environment, suited to a hands-on leader who can shape reporting strategy while staying close to design, delivery and quality.
You will lead the reporting and analytics workstream across the SAP analytics landscape, including SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, embedded analytics and Fiori-based reporting. The role will translate business reporting needs into a clear, governed analytics architecture and ensure dashboards, reports, KPIs and data models are trusted from go-live.
This is a high-impact role working across data, functional, technical and business teams. You will partner with senior stakeholders, guide delivery resources, challenge legacy reporting habits and help build a reporting capability that supports better decisions across a complex enterprise environment.
This is: what you'll do

Lead the reporting and analytics workstream across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and embedded analytics

Define the target-state analytics architecture, reporting strategy, standards and roadmap

Drive requirements workshops with business stakeholders and functional leads across statutory, operational, management and self-service reporting

Oversee the design and build of reports, dashboards, KPIs, semantic models, CDS views and analytical data models

Manage reporting governance, including naming conventions, KPI definitions, version control, lineage and business glossary alignment

Drive report rationalisation by challenging legacy lift-and-shift requests and promoting standardisation

Collaborate with data migration, master data, security, integration and technical architecture teams to ensure reporting is secure, scalable and supportable

Manage reporting test strategy across SIT, UAT and reconciliation against source and legacy systems

Lead reporting developers, analysts and partner resources to deliver the reporting backlog

Support transition to operations, including hypercare, support processes, knowledge transfer and documentation
This is: what you'll need

Proven experience leading reporting or analytics workstreams on a full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation

Strong working knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Products and S/4HANA embedded analytics

Experience with CDS views, Fiori analytical apps, semantic models, dashboards and SAP reporting architecture

Solid understanding of SAP data models and reporting-relevant modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP or similar

Experience defining data governance standards, KPI definitions, reconciliation controls and reporting quality frameworks

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage senior business, technology and delivery stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to lead mixed teams of analysts, developers and implementation partner resources

Strong analytical judgement, with the confidence to balance standardisation against genuine business need

Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to technical and executive audiences

A degree in business, technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
