Cyber Salesforce SME

This is: the job

This is a high-impact 6-month contract for an experienced Salesforce SME with a strong security focus. You will join a critical cyber resilience program, working across a complex Salesforce environment to uplift security posture and strengthen access and data protection controls.

You’ll operate at the intersection of platform expertise and cyber security, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to remediate vulnerabilities, implement best practice controls, and improve overall platform security maturity. This is a hands-on role with real influence on how enterprise Salesforce environments are secured.

This is: what you’ll do

• Lead Salesforce security health check remediation activities
• Identify, assess and prioritise platform vulnerabilities
• Deliver remediation actions aligned to enterprise security standards
• Design and implement authentication and access control improvements
• Configure least privilege access models using profiles and permission sets
• Strengthen data security controls to prevent unauthorised access
• Review and secure integrations, APIs and connected applications
• Support implementation of MFA and IP restriction policies
• Collaborate with cyber and application teams on risk mitigation
• Document security controls, risks and remediation activities

This is: what you’ll need

• Strong Salesforce platform experience with a focus on security
• Deep understanding of OWD, profiles, permission sets and access controls
• Experience with OAuth, connected apps and API security patterns
• Proven capability in vulnerability remediation within SaaS environments
• Knowledge of authentication controls including MFA and IP restrictions
• Exposure to tools like AppOmni or similar vulnerability platforms
• Salesforce certification (Administrator or Identity and Access Management Architect preferred)
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Visio
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
