Water Treatment Account Manager – Food & Beverage

Location: Derby / Sheffield / Chesterfield area

Salary: Up to £55,000 basic + 15% bonus + company car + benefits

Are you an experienced Water Treatment Account Manager looking for a role where you can manage some genuinely high-profile food and beverage customers across a defined regional territory?

This could be a great opportunity to join a major international water treatment business, working with large, strategically important food and beverage accounts across the region.


The role

You will take responsibility for developing and maintaining key customer relationships, helping clients improve the efficiency, reliability and compliance of their water and process systems.

The role will involve a combination of account management, technical consultancy and commercial development, working closely with customers to understand their requirements and identify opportunities to improve their water treatment programmes.

Your customers will primarily be within the food and beverage sector, so experience working with industrial water treatment, process water, cooling water, steam/boiler systems or related applications would be highly relevant.

The territory will cover the area between Sheffield, Derby and the surrounding region, with regular travel to customer sites.


What we're looking for

We're interested in speaking with people who have a background in:

  • Industrial water treatment
  • Water hygiene or water treatment services
  • Cooling towers / cooling water
  • Boiler and steam systems
  • Process water
  • Chemical water treatment
  • Technical sales or account management within an industrial environment

You don't necessarily need to have worked specifically within food and beverage, but you should be comfortable dealing with large industrial customers and technical stakeholders.


You'll need to be commercially minded, confident building long-term customer relationships and comfortable working independently across a regional territory.
