This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in IT. Working as part of a collaborative national technology team, you'll be the first point of contact for staff requiring technical support, providing an outstanding customer experience while developing your technical capability along the way.
You'll take ownership of support requests from initial contact through to resolution, escalating more complex issues when required and ensuring users are kept informed throughout. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to technology projects, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives, all while receiving ongoing mentoring, training and support from an experienced team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing frontline support for hardware, software and system-related issues
- Installing and configuring laptops, mobile devices and standard business applications
- Managing support requests through to completion, maintaining clear communication with users
- Assisting with technology projects, upgrades and rollouts
- Maintaining IT asset records and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, is curious about technology and is keen to learn.
You'll bring:
- Previous customer service, helpdesk or support experience, ideally within a professional services environment
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of issues
- Exposure to, or an interest in developing skills across:
- Windows 11
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Mobile device support
- Basic networking concepts
- Hardware troubleshooting
- An IT qualification, certification or relevant study is advantageous but not essential
