Senior MS D365 Business Central Functional Consultant

We're partnering with a leading technology consultancy that's continuing to invest heavily in its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central practice. This is an opportunity for an experienced Functional Consultant to join a highly regarded team delivering large-scale ERP transformation projects across New Zealand and Australia.

About the role
As a Senior Functional Consultant, you'll partner closely with customers to understand their business challenges and design fit-for-purpose Business Central solutions that deliver real commercial value.

You'll play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery workshops and solution design through to implementation, stakeholder engagement and successful delivery. You'll also collaborate with pre-sales teams, mentor other consultants, and help customers maximise the value of their Microsoft investment.

You'll work across a broad range of Business Central capabilities including Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Projects and Reporting, while leveraging the wider Microsoft ecosystem where appropriate, including Power Platform, Azure and Copilot.

About you
You'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Deep functional knowledge across Business Central modules including Finance, Inventory, Warehousing, Manufacturing and Projects.
• Strong workshop facilitation, requirements gathering and solution design skills.
• Experience leading customer engagements and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
• The ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable ERP solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Experience mentoring consultants or leading workstreams will be highly regarded.
