Overview

Join our team as a dedicated professional responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our plant. This crucial role ensures that all production areas, equipment, and facilities meet rigorous company standards, food safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. This position is for the 2nd SHIFT, 5PM-2AM.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas according to established procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning when necessary.
• Adhere to sanitation schedules and complete all assigned tasks efficiently.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely, following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, drains, and other facility areas.
• Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials.
• Complete sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation accurately.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all safety policies, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support production teams in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sanitation role within a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
