Project Manager (Data & Analytics)

The Opportunity
Join a major Queensland Government technology program that is transforming the way transport operations are managed across the state. This 2-month contract with 2 x 12 month extensions will see you lead the delivery of a high-profile data and video analytics initiative, focused on improving the identification and management of traffic and passenger transport incidents through CCTV and streaming operational data. Working within a large, multi-disciplinary technology program, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative ICT solutions that enhance transport outcomes for Queenslanders.

The Role
You'll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of a critical technology work package, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex ICT project within a major government technology program
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and priorities
• Produce project documentation, reporting, and governance artefacts
• Engage with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to drive successful delivery
• Report on project progress, scope, benefits, and outcomes to key stakeholders

About You
You're an experienced ICT Project Manager with a proven ability to deliver complex technology initiatives and build strong stakeholder relationships.

• Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects, ideally involving data, analytics, or intelligent transport technologies
• Strong project management experience, with PRINCE2 certification or equivalent highly regarded
• Sound understanding of Queensland Government ICT frameworks and governance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading cross-functional technical and business teams
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
