A multinational medical consumables innovator is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead its APAC growth from Hong Kong. You will drive business development across Asia. Leveraging your strong technical background, high personal integrity, and R&D network, you will showcase product certification, quality, and technical performance to leading pharma and medical device manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

  • APAC Regional Business Development: Own commercial strategy and revenue targets across target growth markets, including China, Japan, Korea, and India.

  • R&D & Technical Engagement: Connect directly with R&D heads, laboratory scientists, and production engineers to advocate product quality, performance testing, and international certifications.

  • Channel & Distributor Oversight: Direct and evaluate regional distributor networks, ensuring strict commercial compliance, transparency, and strategic alignment.

  • Consultative Technical Sales: Navigate complex pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing workflows, positioning value based on technical excellence rather than price alone.

  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with US leadership and regional teams to streamline logistics, quality assurance, and customer service.

Candidate Profile

  • Academic Background: Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Industry Experience: Proven track record in technical sales or business development within biopharma, medical devices, high-purity tubing, or scientific consumables (experience dealing with companies like Pfizer, Merck, or Thermo Fisher is highly relevant).

  • Technical Mindset: Strong technical orientation with the capability to hold deep technical dialogues with R&D and manufacturing engineers.

  • Core Values: Exceptional personal integrity, commercial honesty, and a self-driven, dependable work ethic.

  • Languages & Location: Native or professional fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin; based in Hong Kong with willingness to undertake regional travel.
