Senior Change Management Officer

Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Change Management Officer to support the successful delivery of large-scale business transformation and change initiatives.
This role is ideal for an experienced change professional who is passionate about helping organisations navigate complex transformation programs. You will provide expert advice, coaching and guidance to stakeholders while designing and implementing effective change management strategies that support successful adoption and long-term business outcomes.
Working within a dynamic project environment, you will collaborate with program teams, leaders and stakeholders to assess change impacts, build organisational readiness and deliver people-centred change solutions.
Contract Details

• 12-month initial contract
• Locations: Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of change management activities
• Develop stakeholder understanding of change initiatives and translate impacts into practical outcomes
• Provide expert advice on change management methodologies, frameworks and best practices
• Deliver coaching, education and guidance to managers, staff and key stakeholders
• Design and implement change management plans, tools and strategies
• Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis activities
• Assess organisational readiness and identify change risks, issues and opportunities
• Develop recommendations and practical solutions to support successful adoption
• Support the uplift of organisational change capability and people-centred transformation practices
• Coordinate change activities across multiple projects and programs
• Monitor project interdependencies, risks and overlapping change impacts
• Prepare reports, executive briefs, strategic documentation and correspondence for senior stakeholders

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering change management outcomes within complex project or program environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
• Experience conducting change impact assessments and readiness activities
• Ability to develop and implement practical change management strategies and plans
• Experience coaching leaders and stakeholders through organisational change
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and relationship management capabilities
• Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing executive-level documentation

Highly Desirable

• Qualifications or certifications in Prosci, ADKAR or similar change management frameworks
• Experience supporting large-scale business transformation programs
• Exposure to Federal Government environments
• Experience within digital health, technology, ICT or digital transformation initiatives
