Position Overview
The Key Account Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales activities, managing key customer accounts, and supporting contract development to strengthen the organisation's commercial position. This role plays a pivotal part in sustaining and growing revenue through strategic client engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly correspond with the CEO/CFO on discussion and decision makings pertaining to sales
- Assist the sales team to secure the contract which includes sourcing of sales information, calculating the business case, preparing the quotation and contract
- As a liaison person representing the Company with the Sale Personnel from the shareholder
- Prepare of quotations, business proposal/presentation for new and existing customers
- Maintain and upkeep of Company website
- To maintain and develop existing and new customers portfolio
- Update Capability List in the shareholder's catalogue website
- Provide updated Capability List for sales personnel
- Update and maintain the content of the Company Website with latest information
- To carry out and provide update on market research, competitor and customer surveys
- Involve in the marketing activities with both shareholders e.g. preparation of brochure, corporate gift, article etc
- Update overview current point commitment with the customers and provide information to the customer support and finance team
- Liaise and attend meetings with other department functions including shareholders as necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
- Generate and compile analysis and reports on weekly, monthly or yearly basis as required including third party business report, incoming report etc
- Responsible for organising sales Conference, Customer Events and any other sales activities related functions
- Assist the customer support team as and when required
- Any other task as assigned
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a related field
- Proven experience in proposal writing and project costing is advantageous
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Ability to communicate internationally and understand a multicultural environment worldwide
Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to work under pressure
