Warehouse Associate

Nesco Resource is hiring in Tullahoma!

Hours are 9 pm to 5:30 am – rotating days off.

Pay is $20.00

Job Purpose

Responsible for the warehouse process involving Receiving/Put away/Picking/Shipping support Production, Work in process, Material delivery and removal. Ensuring that all FSQMS policies are followed.

Primary Responsibilities / Duties

• Maintain a clean and safe department in addition to a positive team relationship.
• Collect raw material, packaging materials, needed from warehouses and deliver safely to production areas.
• Ensure transactions in the inventory system (Navision) are as accurate as possible.
• Follow steps as it pertains to receiving and shipping material.
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify supervisor.
• Assist QA department with Hold and Release procedures.
• Handle all materials with appropriate care.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for deliveries and submit to management each day.

Staff Responsibilities

• Follow all company procedures and training related to food safety, GMPs, quality, and workplace safety.
• Report food safety or quality, and/or workplace safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate actions.
• Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

• High School diploma required, 2 or more years of related Warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively work in a fast-paced environment, have strong decision-making skills, and use good judgment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekend overtime or temporary reassignment to a different shift.
• Able to work in cool 50-degree production room or 34–38-degree coolers.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Certified Tow Motor operator – can be trained on the job. Previous fork truck experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
