This is a newly created opportunity to shape local marketing strategy, strengthen community engagement and partner with operational leaders to drive growth across Queensland.
Reporting to the QLD General Manager, you'll become the key link between local operations and the central marketing team, ensuring marketing activity is commercially focused, locally relevant and consistently executed across the state.

About the role
As the Regional Marketing & Community Engagement Manager, you'll translate state growth priorities into practical local marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, strengthen community relationships and support commercial outcomes.
Working closely with the QLD General Manager, site leaders and the central marketing team, you'll ensure local marketing activity is aligned, consistent and delivers measurable results across Queensland.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement regional marketing plans aligned with state growth objectives.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify local marketing opportunities and community needs.
- Build relationships with hospitals, aged care providers, community organisations and local stakeholders to increase awareness of funeral and pre-need services.
- Coordinate community engagement initiatives, local events and brand activations.
- Manage regional marketing budgets and monitor campaign performance and ROI.
- Coordinate local advertising across outdoor media, print, digital and social platforms.
- Brief and collaborate with the central marketing team to deliver high-quality marketing assets.
- Ensure consistent execution of marketing initiatives across multiple brands and locations.
- Support local website content, collateral and social media activity.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support ongoing business growth.
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, relationship-focused and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
You'll bring:
- Experience in regional, local area or multi-site marketing.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing marketing budgets and measuring campaign performance.
- Experience developing and executing local marketing plans across paid, owned and earned channels.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
- Experience working across multiple brands, locations or franchise-style businesses.
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience within retail, healthcare, hospitality, franchise or other distributed service industries will be highly regarded.
- Basic Canva or Adobe skills to create or amend local marketing collateral.
- Knowledge of local media, community engagement and social media platforms.
- A strong understanding of Queensland and Northern NSW communities would be highly regarded, particularly across areas such as Brisbane, Mackay, Cairns, Ballina and surrounding regions, with the ability to identify local marketing and community engagement opportunities.
