Senior Information Security Engineer
Australian Citizenship Required

We're seeking a hands-on Senior Information Security Engineer to design, build and implement security solutions across complex and highly regulated environments.
This is not a traditional operational security role. We're looking for someone who has built security capabilities from the ground up, with proven experience designing, deploying and supporting security solutions rather than solely maintaining established environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise security solutions and architectures.
• Configure, deploy and test security technologies across network and platform environments.
• Produce security designs, architecture documentation and technical artefacts.
• Work closely with Governance, Risk, Compliance and Assurance stakeholders to align security controls with business and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.

About You

• Strong hands-on security engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design and build security solutions from conception through to deployment.
• Experience working across multiple security environments and technology stacks.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Firewalls
  • VPNs
  • Web Proxies
  • Network Security Architecture
  • Security Design & Documentation
• Exposure to both network security and platform/application security.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience within Defence, Government, Critical Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Utilities, Aviation, Banking or other highly regulated industries will be highly regarded.

This role is ideal for a security engineer who enjoys building secure environments, solving complex technical challenges and taking ownership of security solutions from design through to implementation.
