About the Role: Our Federal Government Client is seeking an APS6 Salesforce Developer.
This is a long-term contract role based in Canberra.

As the selected candidate, you will:

• Establish and develop AI development capabilities utilising Claude Code within Salesforce development environments.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio solutions.
• Design, build and support REST API integrations and Platform Event-based solutions.
• Work with source control tools including GitLab, Bitbucket and GitHub in a Claude Code development context.
• Support Agile delivery practices using Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket and associated development toolsets.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose CRM platform solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, package-based development and continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures and DataRaptors.
• Strong experience working with object-oriented programming (OOP), frameworks and design patterns.
• Experience with source control tools such as GitLab, package-based development, Atlassian Jira, VS Code and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience designing and building integrations using REST APIs and Platform Events.
• Experience delivering Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud implementations.
• Sound understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and best practices.
• A commitment to accessibility and inclusive design, with enthusiasm for accessible development practices.

It is desirable if you have:

• Successfully delivered three or more Salesforce platform-based CRM projects using Agile methodologies.
• Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II and OmniStudio Developer.
• Demonstrated experience with AI configuration and customisation within Salesforce ecosystems.
• Previous experience working in Federal Government environments.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
