About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership for a large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation program.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business and technical requirements, solution design, security considerations, and integration strategies across a complex technology landscape. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure technology solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
The position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and hands-on architecture experience gained through large-scale transformation initiatives.
 
Role Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture activities for a major ERP transformation program.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
• Define and govern architecture standards, integration patterns, security controls, data models, and technology roadmaps.
• Provide architectural leadership across Finance, Procurement, Human Capital Management, Payroll, Asset Management, Reporting, and Shared Services domains.
• Lead architecture governance, solution assurance reviews, risk assessments, and design authority processes.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, government policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery partners, software vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers.
• Oversee integration architecture between ERP platforms, legacy applications, cloud services, analytics environments, and third-party systems.
• Support roadmap planning, migration strategies, transition-to-operations activities, organisational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic technology decision-making.

 
What You Will Bring
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technology design roles.
• Proven success delivering large-scale ERP, digital transformation, or enterprise technology programs.
• Strong experience working with Microsoft and Oracle technologies, with knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP and Workday.
• Experience designing and developing web services and API integrations.
• Strong understanding of source control and DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps and Git.
• Experience capturing and translating business requirements through user stories, process mapping, use cases, and requirements analysis.
• Strong T-SQL and database design knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation and change initiatives.
