About the role
In this role you will provide the necessary senior expertise to lead business integration, influence enterprise direction, and ensure that Foundation Geospatial capabilities remain fit-for-purpose, interoperable, and responsive to current and future government requirements.
Role Responsibilities
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.

About the role
In this role you will provide the necessary senior expertise to lead business integration, influence enterprise direction, and ensure that Foundation Geospatial capabilities remain fit-for-purpose, interoperable, and responsive to current and future government requirements.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide strategic governance and oversight of Foundation Geospatial Branch production requirements and activities to ensure alignment with Branch mission and Defence capability priorities.
- Lead the integration and continuous improvement of Foundation Geospatial Branch business processes, ensuring consistency, standardisation, and interoperability across systems.
- Deliver actionable insights and advice to support Defence planning, capability development, and decision-making using geospatial data and analytics.
- Demonstrated extensive experience (typically 12+ years) in enterprise GIS and geospatial data, including integration, sustainment, and operation of geospatial capabilities.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in geospatial science, GIS, or related discipline (Bachelor’s degree or higher).
- 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options.
