Facilities Manager

Lead maintenance and facilities operations across a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for property performance, preventative maintenance, vendor management, project oversight, and ensuring buildings remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and willing to lead by example.

Responsibilities

•  Oversee maintenance and facility operations across multiple properties

•  Manage maintenance staff, contractors, and third-party vendors

• Conduct routine property inspections and address issues proactively

• Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital improvement projects

• Monitor building performance and ensure compliance with safety standards

• Manage work order systems, reporting, and operational performance metrics

• Obtain vendor bids, negotiate services, and oversee project execution

• Troubleshoot facility issues and perform hands-on repairs when necessary

• Oversee unit turnovers and ongoing property improvement initiatives

• Control costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operations

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in facilities management, property management, construction, or building maintenance

• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills

• Experience supervising employees, contractors, and vendors

• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and preventative maintenance programs

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to changing operational needs

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems and computer applications

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with repairs when needed

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time

• Pay Rate is $30+ per hour

• 1st Shift

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

• Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

• Temp-To-Hire or Direct Hire
