CNC Machine Operator/Machinist

Job Title: CNC Operator / Machinist
Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: Join a well-established manufacturing team as a CNC Operator/Machinist and play a critical role in producing precision parts that meet exact specifications. In this hands-on role, you'll operate CNC machines, perform quality inspections, assist with setups, and contribute to the team's commitment to safety, accuracy, and on-time production.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity perfect for individuals with prior CNC experience who are looking for long-term growth and stability in a clean, organized, and supportive work environment.

Shift:

• 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay:

• $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, Based on Experience

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machinery according to production and quality standards.
• Assist in machine setups, tool changes, and in-process checks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and job instructions to produce accurate parts.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using standard measuring tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Report any quality issues, equipment concerns, or production delays to management.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Team-oriented with solid communication and problem-solving skills.
