Application Engineer - Advisor Experience

Role Overview As a Senior Application Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building and enhancing digital applications that support both customers and internal stakeholders. Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle while mentoring others and promoting engineering best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance modern web applications and APIs
• Design scalable cloud-native solutions within AWS
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews and technical design decisions
• Champion quality engineering, automation and CI/CD practices
• Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with product, design and technology stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with AWS-based application development
• Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, Node.js and modern frontend development
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development capability
• Experience with automated testing and engineering best practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub and Agile delivery environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Passion for mentoring and driving technical excellence
