Senior QA Engineer

Overview:

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Software QA Engineer to join their growing team. You must have a solid understanding of the SW development life cycle and different test methodologies. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing function test, integration test, and performance test for IVI related AI applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain requirement / test case / test result matrix
• Enhance test automation framework for support of new features and improve test efficiency
• Develop automation test tools in Python
• Analyze test results along with failure analysis
• Integrate software components from internal suppliers and maintain an automated Continuous Integration tool chain
• Deploy AI app software on embedded target platform and solve integration issues on target platform
• Preparation of the SW release
• Solve integration and configuration issues of hardware and software of test setups

Requirements

Education:

• 5 to 8 years of QA experience in automotive, or connectivity environment
• B.S or Diploma degree in computer science, engineering or related experience

Required Skills:

• Automation programming skills: Python and C++ languages
• Test case design
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience to solve issues on  embedded operation systems as Linux, Andriod or QNX
• Experience with code management tools e.g. Git, Perforce and bug tracking tools e.g. Jira
• Experience with embedded HW in the Automotive domain
• Ability to cover occasional peak demands
• Affinity to solve hardware and real time OS related issues
• Excellent oral communication skills in Japanese and English
