Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Pay: $22.00/hour
Location: Westborough,MA

About the Opportunity

We are currently hiring Machine Operators for a contract-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, team-oriented work environment where employees can focus on their work in a calm and supportive setting.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working on their feet, and able to closely monitor equipment and product quality.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload membrane materials used for filtration equipment into automated machinery for leak testing.

• Operate and monitor automated equipment throughout the production process.

• Perform visual quality inspections of finished products.

• Measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

• Monitor multiple machine parameters to keep products within required specifications.

• Monitor and adjust parameters such as:

  • Temperature

  • Tension

  • Gap openings

  • Machine speed

  • Alignment

• Inspect finished products for quality and appearance, including roughness, wrinkles, size, and pattern.

• Work at different machine stations throughout the shift as needed.

• Follow safety and quality procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and good measurement skills.

• Good hand dexterity and ability to work with machinery and materials.

• Ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift.

• Ability to closely monitor equipment and product quality.

• Comfortable working in a production environment.

• Previous experience working around chemicals is a plus.

• Reliable and dependable attendance.

Requirements

• Background check required.

• Must be able to work the scheduled 2nd shift Monday–Friday.
