Machine Operator - Services Experience

If you're confident operating excavators around live services and have experience with water, stormwater, sewer, power, or telecommunications infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you. This is a hands-on role offering long-term work, great team environments, and the opportunity to work on a variety of civil infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing:

• Operating excavators and other civil machinery around underground services
• Excavating for water, stormwater, sewer, power and fibre installations
• Reading service plans and locating existing underground utilities
• Working safely around live services while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Completing daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
• Assisting the crew with general civil works when required

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience operating excavators around underground services
• WTR endorsements and Class 2 or above licence
• Strong knowledge of safe excavation practices
• Ability to read plans and identify underground services
• ConstructSafe or Site Safe preferred
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a team
