The Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the store remains well-stocked, organised, and presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable agricultural, farming, equine, and rural lifestyle products.
• Offer product advice and guidance where appropriate.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and customer requirements are met.
• Replenish shelves and merchandise products effectively.
• Maintain attractive, organised, and well-presented retail displays.
• Process customer purchases accurately using the till system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional retail environment.
• Use retail systems to support customer transactions and stock management.
• Stay informed on products, promotions, and industry developments.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Adhere to all company procedures, policies, and safety standards.
• Support the wider team with additional duties as required.

About You

Ideal Candidate Profile

• An interest in agriculture, farming, livestock, equine, or rural living.
• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of agricultural products is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems.
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
• A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
