About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Accreditation Manager, you'll support specialist medical training programs across Australia. Working across accreditation, international medical graduate assessments, committee support and stakeholder engagement, you'll coordinate site visits, interviews, training activities and key administrative processes while partnering with medical specialists, trainees and healthcare organisations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate accreditation activities for training sites and specialist training positions
- Support international medical graduate assessment processes, including application management, interview coordination and reporting
- Manage enquiries from trainees, medical practitioners, training facilities and other stakeholders
- Coordinate site visits, accreditation reviews, meetings and interviews, including travel and logistical arrangements
- Prepare meeting papers, minutes, correspondence and committee documentation
- Maintain accurate records across CRM systems, databases and reporting platforms
- Support government-funded training program administration, reporting and broader training initiatives, including workshops, assessments and examinations
- Build strong relationships with committee members, healthcare professionals, training providers and external stakeholders
- Proven administration, coordination or program support experience
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong digital skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, databases and CRM systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and manage multiple processes simultaneously
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Confidence engaging with a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience within a medical college, healthcare organisation, university, education provider, membership association or professional body (highly desirable)
- Experience supporting committees, accreditation processes or assessments (highly desirable)
- Hybrid working with two days from home each week
- Additional leave over the Christmas shutdown period
