Apply direct
This is a role for a rising star in category who wants to do more than prepare decks for internal sign-off.
You'll be embedded directly with major retail partners - Coles, Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse - acting as their trusted category expert, influencing planograms, range decisions and joint business plans from the inside.
What the role offers.
Direct, day-to-day influence with some of Australia's most powerful buying teams.
A role where your category thinking translates immediately into decisions that affect the shelf - rather than getting lost in internal approval cycles.
The backing of a global business with world-class shopper and category tools, data and expertise. And a genuine opportunity to build a reputation as a go-to category leader with major retailers.
What you'll be doing.
You'll translate category strategy and shopper insights into shelf plans and ranging recommendations that land with impact at range reviews and JBP sessions.
You'll build trusted relationships with retailer category and merchandising teams, lead planogram development, and integrate scan data, loyalty data and Nielsen/IRI to generate insights that actually change decisions.
This is a hands-on, retailer-facing role - not a support function.
What you'll need to bring.
3+ years in category or sales within FMCG, with strong analytical and storytelling skills.
Experience working with Coles or Woolworths is highly regarded.
Comfortable with syndicated data tools including Nielsen, IRI and Quantium.
