Reporting into head office, this is a genuine business partnering & analysis driven role and you will play a key part in helping formulate and measure business strategy. You'll act as the conduit between head office and operations and translate financial insights into commercial decisions that matter across the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting into head office, this is a genuine business partnering & analysis driven role and you will play a key part in helping formulate and measure business strategy. You'll act as the conduit between head office and operations and translate financial insights into commercial decisions that matter across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver accurate, timely management reporting.
- Partner directly with operational leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Deep dive into cost and performance drivers, providing detailed analysis and driving process improvement
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains across operational processes
- Build and maintain BI dashboards and financial models for real-time performance visibility
- Monitor key operational and financial KPIs, flagging risks and opportunities to leadership
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Commercially-minded finance professional with a track record of getting close to the operational side of the business
- Experience in resources, or another asset-heavy industry highly regarded
- Strong Excel/BI skills, with the ability to build clear, decision-ready models and dashboards
- Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, variance analysis, and driving process improvement
- Confidence to influence and engage non-finance stakeholders across the business
