It will suit a qualified accountant who is immediately available, strong with reconciliations, confident working through detailed Excel based analysis, and able to get up to speed quickly in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Responsibilities
- Support group intercompany reconciliation work across entities, including balancing differences between local and overseas ledgers
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation work and control account reconciliations
- Review large volumes of financial data using Excel to identify variances, differences and required adjustments
- Assist with year end preparation and audit readiness activities
- Work closely with senior finance stakeholders to resolve outstanding reconciliation items
- Support handover of existing work and ensure key deadlines are met before 30 June
- Contribute to broader finance tasks as required during a busy year end period
- CA or CPA qualified, or equivalent overseas qualification
- Strong reconciliation experience across intercompany, balance sheet or control accounts
- Solid understanding of year end close, audit processes and financial controls
- Strong Excel capability and confidence working with detailed data
- Able to start immediately or at short notice
- Comfortable working in the office 4 to 5 days per week
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and collaboratively in a busy finance team
- Experience with TechnologyOne or Power BI will be well regarded, but is not essential
