Business Readiness Lead – Modern ERP

Brisbane | 6-Month Contract | Immediate/September Start

Are you an experienced Business Readiness, Change, Process Improvement or ERP professional looking for an opportunity to play a key role in a major transformation program?

We are seeking a Business Readiness Lead to support the implementation of a modern ERP environment within a large and complex organisation. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business transformation, process optimisation, change, training and operational readiness, helping teams transition to new and improved ways of working.

About the Role

As the Business Readiness Lead, you will take a hands-on role in preparing the business for a modern ERP implementation. You will work closely with operational teams, subject matter experts, project teams and key stakeholders to ensure new processes are practical, well understood and successfully adopted.

You will be responsible for reviewing and improving existing processes, developing clear documentation and supporting employees through the transition to new systems and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the review, redesign and standardisation of business processes to support ERP implementation and operational improvement.
• Develop process maps, procedures, work instructions and user guides that translate complex processes into practical, easy-to-follow ways of working.
• Drive business readiness, change adoption and stakeholder engagement across operational teams.
• Design and deliver training, knowledge transfer and capability uplift activities to build workforce confidence and competence.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand requirements, identify improvement opportunities and develop practical solutions.
• Support process modelling and documentation, using BPMN 2.0 and tools such as SAP Signavio or equivalent.
• Contribute to asset management, master data governance and information management improvements.
• Support testing, business validation, implementation and transition activities.
• Establish sustainable process governance, ownership and continuous improvement practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, operational outcomes and benefits realisation.

About You

We are looking for someone who can combine strong business process capability with excellent stakeholder and change management skills.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven experience delivering ERP, digital transformation or business improvement initiatives within complex operational environments.
• Strong experience in business process analysis, redesign and optimisation.
• Practical experience with BPMN 2.0 and process modelling tools such as SAP Signavio or equivalent.
• Experience developing SOPs, process documentation, work instructions, technical guidance and user materials.
• Strong understanding of business readiness, change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience designing and delivering training and workforce capability uplift.
• Exposure to asset management, maintenance, engineering, operations or related environments.
• Understanding of asset lifecycle management and ISO 55000 principles will be highly regarded.
• Experience supporting master data governance, data quality or information management initiatives.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship management skills.
• The ability to translate complex business and system requirements into simple, practical and sustainable ways of working.
