Apply directAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced UI/UX Design Lead to join a major digital transformation program delivering a next-generation operational platform for a large enterprise organisation.
This role will play a key part in designing intuitive, modern user experiences for a cloud-based platform that integrates operational technology, IoT, enterprise systems and geospatial data. Working closely with technical leads, business stakeholders and operational users, you'll transform complex workflows into engaging, user-centred digital experiences.
About the Role
As the UI/UX Design Lead, you will own the end-to-end user experience across a sophisticated enterprise platform. You'll lead the design of role-based interfaces, dashboards and workflows while contributing to front-end implementation using modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UX strategy and front-end interaction design for a large enterprise platform.
- Design intuitive, role-based experiences for operational, analytical and leadership users.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, design systems and reusable UI components.
- Design dashboards, workflow screens, forms, map-based interfaces, alerts, timelines and operational views.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows, decision-making processes and usability requirements.
- Work closely with technical leads and developers to ensure designs are practical and efficiently implemented.
- Support front-end development using Angular, React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Establish consistent UI standards and reusable design patterns.
- Champion accessibility, responsive design and usability best practices.
- Participate in user testing, iterative improvements and continuous enhancement of the platform.
About You
You are a passionate UI/UX professional with experience designing complex enterprise applications and translating business requirements into intuitive digital experiences.
You'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience designing user experiences for complex enterprise or business-critical applications.
- Strong UI/UX, Product Design or Front-End Design experience.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Experience designing dashboards, workflows, forms, mapping interfaces, alerts and operational screens.
- Experience working with Angular, React or comparable modern web application frameworks.
- Knowledge of modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Angular Material, Bootstrap or similar.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility and usability principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers to deliver production-ready user interfaces.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and technical teams.
- Experience working within governed enterprise environments and delivery frameworks.

Mandatory Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design for enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Ability to work within enterprise governance, architecture and security standards.
- Current Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain one).
