Our client is looking for a Solution Architect who enjoys working closely with product teams, software engineers and stakeholders to turn ideas into scalable, practical solutions. This isn't a role where you'll spend all day creating PowerPoint diagrams and handing them over. You'll stay involved throughout the delivery journey, helping shape architecture decisions, solving technical challenges and ensuring solutions work in the real world.

You'll be joining a collaborative engineering team developing sophisticated software products where architecture, integration and quality matter.

What you'll be doing

• Design end-to-end software solutions that align with product and business objectives.
• Work with Product Owners, Software Architects and development teams to turn requirements into clear technical designs.
• Break down solution designs into deliverable work packages for engineering teams.
• Define system integrations, APIs and component interactions.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing platforms rather than reinventing them.
• Support delivery teams by providing technical guidance throughout development, testing and implementation.
• Produce architecture documentation, system diagrams and technical design artefacts that are clear, practical and maintainable.

What we're looking for
You'll probably have experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect or Senior Software Engineer who has moved into architecture.

We're interested in people who can demonstrate:

• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering principles.
• Experience with systems integration, APIs and distributed applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
