Our Auckland team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a strong client portfolio, drive growth across the North Island region, and continue building trusted partnerships within the retail sector.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Managing end-to-end agency recruitment across your client portfolio
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities
• Partnering with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
• Sourcing, engaging, and attracting top retail talent through multiple channels
• Managing candidate relationships from initial conversation through to placement and beyond
• Coaching and advising clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Driving business development activity and growing your market presence
• Attending client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
• Representing Retailworld as a trusted recruitment partner within the retail industry

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven agency recruitment experience is essential
• Strong track record managing your own desk and delivering successful placements
• Experience within retail, hospitality, or a customer-focused sector is highly regarded
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and grow accounts
• Self-motivated, organised, and driven by achieving results
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team environment
• Someone who genuinely enjoys recruitment, people, and building long-term partnerships
