Assistant Store Manager - Women's Premium Fashion

About the role

We are partnering with a leading luxury retail group to recruit an Assistant Store Manager – Womenswear for a concession-based location within a major Sydney CBD retail destination.

This is a high-accountability leadership role, operating with a level of autonomy similar to a Store Manager, responsible for driving the performance of a womenswear business within one of the group’s top-performing national locations.

You will operate in a premium retail setting where client experience, commercial performance, and operational excellence are critical to success.
The business is heavily investing in elevating service standards, strengthening clienteling, and building stable, high-performing retail teams — and is seeking leaders who can truly elevate the store experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and coaching a small womenswear concession team
• Driving daily sales performance, KPIs, and commercial outcomes
• Delivering a premium, elevated client experience in a luxury retail environment
• Developing strong clienteling behaviours and long-term customer relationships
• Managing rostering, floor coverage, and daily operational execution
• Supporting performance management and accountability conversations
• Maintaining high visual merchandising and concession standards within a premium retail environment
• Acting as a key commercial leader within a flagship concession location

About you

We are looking for a confident, commercially driven retail leader who thrives in high-performance luxury environments.
You will bring:

• Experience in premium or luxury fashion retail leadership
• Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop small teams
• Proven track record in driving sales and KPIs
• Confidence in performance management and accountability conversations
• Strong clienteling mindset and passion for customer experience
• Ability to manage rostering and operational execution within a concession environment
• Clear, confident communication style
• Highly polished presentation aligned with luxury standards
• Mandarin language skills advantageous but not essential
