Specialist - Technology Sourcing

Join a major technology transformation program where you'll play a key role in sourcing the technology, suppliers and commercial partnerships that enable the delivery of critical digital initiatives.
  
This is an opportunity to step into a high-performing commercial team, partnering with project leaders, architects and business stakeholders to influence procurement outcomes across a diverse technology portfolio. You'll be involved in everything from cloud and software procurement through to managed services, vendor negotiations and strategic sourcing activities.
  
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of end-to end technology sourcing activities, providing commercial advice that supports major projects while ensuring procurement processes are delivered efficiently and in line with governance requirements.
  
Working across multiple initiatives simultaneously, you'll help shape sourcing strategies, engage with the market and support commercial negotiations that deliver long-term value.
  
What you'll be doing

• Develop sourcing strategies for technology and digital initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate procurement activities including RFx processes and supplier evaluations.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams and business stakeholders.
• Support contract establishment, renewals and variations.
• Participate in supplier negotiations covering pricing, commercial terms and service outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders across technology, legal and commercial teams.
• Identify commercial risks and provide practical mitigation strategies.
• Ensure procurement activities are delivered within agreed governance frameworks and project timeframes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across procurement and vendor management practices.

  
About you
You'll bring a blend of commercial acumen, stakeholder management and procurement experience, ideally gained within a technology or digital environment.
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, commercial advisory or contract management.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes including RFIs, RFQs and RFPs.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple procurement activities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written communication and documentation capabilities.
• Experience procuring technology, software, cloud services, managed services or telecommunications will be highly regarded, as will previous exposure to large transformation programs or regulated environments.
