About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the General Manager Digital Transformation and Technology Services leads enterprise-wide technology, cyber security, data and analytics, AI governance and digital programs. The General Manager will develop and execute a Digital Transformation and Technology Services Strategy aligned to Strategy 2040, including migration from legacy environments to cloud-based platforms, an AI Strategy and Governance Framework, and an enterprise cyber security strategy spanning IT and OT/IACS environments. The role acts as principal advisor to the Board and the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee on technology, cyber, data and AI matters, and is Executive Sponsor of the Digital Transformation and Technology Steering Committee. About you
As an accomplished technology leader, you bring extensive experience in IT and digital strategy development and implementation, including managing high-performing IT departments and complex change or transformation initiatives. Experience in a customer-oriented utilities sector would be well regarded, but of greater value is executive-level exposure including presenting and reporting to Boards and Committees and a history of fostering highly engaged teams. Your ability to assess risk, make timely decisions and explain technical matters to non-technical audiences will be essential.
