I am currently helping our Client seeking a candidate with sell side or buy side operations experience to join the team in Hong Kong.

Your role:

• Oversee ETF and fund valuation processes, review NAV calculations, and provide timely approval or challenges to third-party administrators.
• Identify and escalate valuation anomalies, implement control enhancements, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Fund Management to resolve valuation inquiries, supporting the accurate and prompt publication of NAVs.
• Review post-trade transaction cost analyses, understand fund flows and trading activity, and support expense reconciliation.
• Assist in launching new ETFs and share classes by coordinating operational readiness and process integration.
• Manage oversight of outsourced service providers across trade lifecycle stages, ensuring high-quality service, strong controls, and support for Trading and Fund Management teams.
• Monitor APAC market activities, identify settlement risks, operational exceptions, and trade mismatches, and facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Oversee subscription and redemption processes, ensuring efficient funding, trading, and client servicing.
• Investigate reconciliation discrepancies, custody issues, and operational breaks, acting as a primary contact for stakeholder queries and escalation where needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external service providers, ensuring clear communication and efficient issue resolution.

Ideally you have:

• Proven experience in Investment Operations, with strong knowledge of fund valuation, NAV production, and valuation oversight.
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement, custody, and post-trade processes across EMEA and APAC markets.
• Experience managing outsourced providers, monitoring service delivery, controls, and SLA adherence.
• Skilled in reconciling cash, stock, and NAV discrepancies, with a focus on root cause analysis and timely resolution.
• Ability to operate effectively in multi-currency environments, familiar with custodians and matching platforms such as CTM.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across functions and geographies.
• Strong risk management mindset, demonstrating ownership, attention to detail, operational judgment, and disciplined escalation.
• Proactive problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, working efficiently in fast-paced global settings.
• Fluent in English.
