Production Lead / Executive Producer - Europe for a leading inhouse content studio
This will be a 12 month freelance role starting in January 2027

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Production Lead or Executive Producer to establish and lead a modern production capability across Europe for an in-house content studio.
This is a newly created role with a clear mandate: to identify the most effective production solution for every project, balancing quality, speed, creativity and cost.
The Production Lead will be the central point of leadership for production, determining the right approach for each project and deciding when work is best delivered through an internal studio, freelance talent, production partners or external suppliers.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Production Lead or Executive Producer to establish and lead a modern production capability across Europe for an in-house content studio.
This is a newly created role with a clear mandate: to identify the most effective production solution for every project, balancing quality, speed, creativity and cost.
The Production Lead will be the central point of leadership for production, determining the right approach for each project and deciding when work is best delivered through an internal studio, freelance talent, production partners or external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and shape the organisation's production capability, operating model and ways of working.
- Define the most effective production approach for each campaign, content and digital project.
- Develop and manage a strong network of production partners, freelancers and specialist suppliers across the UK and Europe.
- Lead productions from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring high-quality, efficient and commercially effective execution.
- Manage production budgets, timelines, resources and risks.
- Partner closely with creative, account and client teams, providing expert guidance on production strategy and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency and scalability.
- Lead, support and develop a Content Producer
- Scope of work: Work spans always-on social, paid social craft, smaller productions, and larger external productions. Examples include mobilizing videographers, set designers, prop or art departments, animatronics specialists, 3D printers, and other local suppliers for work in markets such as Rome, Porto, Berlin and Spain.
- Extensive experience as a Production Lead or in a comparable senior production role with a Production company background or AND social agency experience
- Strong experience across content and social (social first experience ideal)
- Proven ability to build production frameworks, supplier networks and effective ways of working from the ground up. Supplier and freelancer network across European markets
- Excellent problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills.
- An established network of production contacts across the UK and Europe.
- A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to balance creative ambition, quality, timelines and budget.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and building new capabilities from the ground up.
- A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and shape how production is delivered.
- Establishing a scalable and effective production model across Europe.
- Building a trusted network of high-quality production partners, freelancers and suppliers.
- Improving production quality, speed and cost efficiency.
- Ensuring each project is delivered through the most appropriate and commercially effective production solution.
- Creating a flexible production model that can adapt to changing project needs and creative ambition.
- Establishing the organisation as a leader in modern, agile and efficient content production.
