We’re working with a fast-growing, social-first consumer business that has built a huge audience through organic content and is now looking for a Marketing Associate to join its Owned Marketing team.
This isn’t a traditional social content role. It’s about using content as a testing engine, combining creative instinct with performance data to decide what gets scaled.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who understands social and content, but is also interested in the why behind performance.
You’ll be someone who enjoys spotting trends and creative opportunities, testing different ideas and using results to understand what is worth scaling.
You’ll join a small, high-performing team responsible for creating, testing and distributing content across the brand’s own channels. The focus isn’t simply on making content. It’s about testing creative before launch, learning from performance and using those insights to improve the chances of a product succeeding.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the pre-launch content testing process for new product releases, developing different creative angles and formats to understand what resonates before wider marketing investment is committed..
• Coming up with creative concepts based on social trends, audience behaviour and what you know works across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook..
• Creating and filming short-form content, then working with in-house video editors to develop and test multiple versions..
• Publishing and distributing content across the brand’s owned social channels..
• Tracking performance against agreed benchmarks and identifying what is working, what isn’t and why..
• Using performance insights to make clear recommendations on which creative angles, formats and products should be scaled, developed or deprioritised..
• Managing content production from brief through to delivery, including briefing, casting, filming and directing editors..
• Working closely with the wider marketing team to turn learnings from testing into future content and launch plans..
• Supporting ongoing content creation around key products, launches and retail partnerships..

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who sits between creative content and performance marketing.
You might have 1–2 years’ experience in social, content, creative strategy, growth marketing or a similar role, or you could be earlier in your career with strong evidence of hands-on experience and commercial thinking.

What matters most is that you can demonstrate:

• A strong understanding of what makes content work on social, and an interest in understanding why..
• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or similar platforms..
• An ability to spot trends, develop creative ideas and turn them into content quickly..
• A structured approach to testing different creative angles rather than simply creating content and hoping it performs..
• Confidence looking at performance data and turning it into clear, practical learnings..
• Good commercial judgement and curiosity around what makes a product or piece of content succeed..
• The initiative to take an idea from concept through to execution..
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved in filming, production and publishing..
Experience in DTC, ecommerce, gaming, entertainment or another fast-moving consumer business would be particularly relevant, but isn’t essential.

Why consider it?

This is a genuinely hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work.
Rather than simply producing content against a brief, you’ll be involved in testing ideas, analysing what happens and helping decide what gets taken forward. You’ll work closely with an entrepreneurial marketing team, have real ownership from an early stage and learn quickly as the business continues to grow.
There is significant autonomy, creative freedom and scope to progress with the business.

Benefits
• £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience.
• 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
• Hybrid working, with four days per week in a central London office and one day from home.
• Pension scheme.
• Regular team lunches, breakfasts and socials.
• Fully stocked office kitchen.
• Product allowance.

If you’re looking to build a career in social and marketing and want the opportunity to take real ownership early, we’d love to hear from you.
