Senior Contract Administrator

Join a national head D&C contractor. Our client also has several of their own developments. Design & Build Recruitment is working closely with the Queensland team to find a quality Contract Administrator who is keen on securing a long term and permanent opportunity. You will join the new build construction team, running projects, anywhere from $10M - $40M.  
  
About the Role:
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our clients Qld based projects. You will predominately be based in the office which is close to all forms of public transport. You will also enjoy occasional travel to site to stay close to the action and build strong relationships with project teams and stakeholders. You are not required to manage a team, however, we would like to see you lead by example and ability to share knowledge. 
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, negotiate and manage subcontracts and procurement packages
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, costs, and cash flow
  • Assist in tender evaluations and let packages
  • Administer progress claims, variations, and contractual correspondence
  • Work collaboratively with your Project Manager and Site Manager
What We’re Looking For:
  • Recent experience as a Contracts Administrator delivering projects from start to finish
  • Exposure to new build projects up to $20M to $30M
  • Ability and willingness to mentor staff
