Mechanical Engineer (ADAS)(Yok)

Job Scope / Major Responsibilities:

・

To understand camera system’s mechanical housing and lens design requirement, work with global team members in designing modules and plan product test.

・

Perform mechanical/lens design reviews with customer and get design agreement for production.

・

To des ign brackets for module’s installation using CAD tools, based on understanding of system’s functional and design requirement from customer.

・

Create, manage and release technical drawings to customer in timely manner to meet development deadlines.

・

Camera unit housing, bracket vehicle installation study.

・

Mechanical design review with JOEMs customers   

Requirements

Key Competencies:

・

Good knowledge in electronic products’ mechanical design, including metal and plastic characteristics, mechanical stress, heat dissipation analysis and tooling for plastic molds.

・

Automotive related product design experience is preferred.

・

Experience wor king with optical products (e.g. cameras) is preferred.

・

Excellent CAD skills for directly working with modules’ mechanical design. Experience in using CATIA and/or UG NX is preferred.

・

Excellent task management skill, able to manage and prioritize multipl e jobs in parallel.

・

Ability to communicate in English and Japanese on technical subjects both in oral and writing, to work with global team members and customers.
