Advanced Product Marketing Role needed for a 17-month REMOTE contract to hire role with YOH's client in Santa Clara, California.


Pay Rate: $100-$120 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:
Job Description

• As the account owner, represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
• Identifies customer needs and develops/implements sales strategies.
• Calls on existing or new customer to present client product and services offerings; coordinates customer demonstrations with product business group representatives.
• Communicate and present client product roadmaps and capabilities to the customer, as well as communicating and presenting the customer’s technology needs to product business group representatives.
• Maintains appropriate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers; maintains summaries of customer visits.
• Develops customer specific action plans and completes them on a timely basis.
• Develops complex scope business & marketing plans, assesses market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share
• Recommends investment decisions for new product development
• Conducts complex competitive analysis for specific products or product lines. Drives Red Team Analysis
• Assists with complex pricing strategies to build and protect a leadership position in market share while enhancing profit margins and developing marketing tools for successful product introductions
• Partners with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to develop new products and enhance existing products as well as communicate critical market needs and time requirements
• Understands technical and business environments. Assists with the development of strategies to meet business objectives
• Supports the Field to ensure synergistic account approaches and optimization of all opportunities for account partnership and penetration
• Manages release of complex products through the end of their product life cycle
• Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field
• Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
• May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

What You Need to Bring to the Table: 

• Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Marketing/Business
• Strong technical and analytical thinking and writing skills
• Ability to interact with outside customers
• Focused and project oriented, ability to multi-task
• Able to succeed as an individual contributor
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently
