About the Opportunity
An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Registered Conveyancer to manage residential conveyancing matters from contract to settlement. This role suits a detail-focused professional who values precision, clear communication, and delivering a seamless client experience throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end residential conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, and settlements.
- Conduct electronic settlements and lodgements using PEXA.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, banks, and legal professionals to ensure timely settlements.
- Prepare, review, and finalise contracts, statements, and settlement documentation.
- Undertake electronic verification of identity and maintain accurate digital records.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during the settlement process.
Skills and Experience
- Registered Conveyancer with demonstrated residential conveyancing experience.
- Proficiency in conveyancing software and electronic lodgement systems.
- Strong experience using PEXA (Property Exchange Australia).
- Familiarity with platforms such as Smokeball, LEAP, or InfoTrack.
- Experience with digital document management and electronic VOI processes.
- Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to explain legal terms in plain English.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to manage unexpected settlement issues.
