Nesco Resource is hiring a Quality Technician for a well-established manufacturing company in the Elmira area. This is a full-time, first shift opportunity with steady hours, great benefits, and room to grow.
If you’re detail-oriented and like hands-on work, this is a great chance to build a long-term career.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect parts and materials to ensure quality standards are met
- Approve or reject products based on specifications
- Use measuring tools like calipers, gauges, and micrometers
- Record inspection results and track any defects
- Work with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Read blueprints and follow work instructions
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manufacturing or quality experience is a plus
- Blueprint reading is helpful, but not required
