EQUIP People are seeking experienced Civil Labourers for ongoing work across a range of civil infrastructure projects throughout the Wellington region.
This role suits someone who has previous civil construction experience and enjoys working in a hands-on environment. You'll be supporting drainage, water and underground services projects while working alongside experienced operators, drainlayers and civil crews.
Duties may include:
- Assisting with pipe laying, drainage installations and underground services
- Trenching, bedding, backfilling and compaction work
- Working safely around excavators, rollers, loaders and other plant equipment
- Operating hand tools and small plant equipment
- Assisting with reinstatement works, footpaths and site finishing
- Supporting site safety and maintaining a clean work environment
- Following project plans and supervisor instructions
What We're Looking For
- Proven civil construction or drainage labouring experience
- Class 2 licence or willingness to obtain one
- Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
- Strong awareness of site safety practices
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a crew
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Highly Desirable:
- WTR endorsements
- Site Safe certification
- Traffic Management experience or qualifications
- Confined Space certification
- Drainage or underground services experience
Important

- Reliable transport is required
