We are seeking reliable and safety-focused MC Truck and Dog Drivers to support cartage operations across a major gas project in the Western Downs Region. This role involves operating Truck and Dog combinations to transport product and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MC Truck and Dog combinations safely and efficiently across designated project routes.
- Cart product and materials to support gas project operations and construction activities.
- Complete daily pre-start inspections, vehicle checks, load inspections, and end-of-shift reporting.
- Comply with all site safety procedures, traffic management plans, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery dockets, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, transport coordinators, and site personnel.
- Work safely and collaboratively while meeting project expectations and production requirements.
- Current MC Driver Licence.
- Demonstrated experience operating Truck and Dog combinations.
- Previous experience carting bulk materials, product or loads within civil, construction, mining, resources, oil and gas, or major infrastructure projects.
- Sound understanding of heavy vehicle compliance, load restraint, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Ability to complete daily paperwork, logbooks, and compliance documentation accurately.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining high safety standards.
- Comfortable working away from home on a 10/4 roster.
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening, and site onboarding requirements.
- Competitive hourly rate | $58-60ph Flat Rate + Travel
- Travel allowance for travel to and from site.
- 10/4 roster | Monday to Friday.
- Ongoing work on a major gas project.
