The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring heavy vehicles remain roadworthy and operational, supporting critical transport operations across the region.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and transport equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure fleet availability and reliability.
- Australian-recognised Trade Qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent.
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing trucks, trailers, and heavy transport equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence, with an HR Licence highly regarded.
- Ability to pass a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical assessment.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
- Flat rate of $70 per hour.
- Mon to Fri | 7.00am to 3.00pm
- Weekly pay with a reliable payment schedule.
